Honey Vanilla Belgium Waffles

A subtly sweet Belgium waffle with light hints of honey and vanilla

Servings: 4 servings
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  1. Preheat your waffle iron and spray it with nonstick spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.

  3. In another medium bowl, whisk together wet ingredients. Add to dry ingredients in 3 parts, mixing lightly in between. Stir until ingredients are all incorporated. 

  4. Depending on the size and shape of your waffle maker, this will make 4-6 waffles. Use a 1/2 cup measuring cup to pour batter (you may need more or less, depending on size of iron) into waffle maker and cook according to your waffle maker's directions.

  5. Serve hot with blueberry syrup and whipped cream or any other toppings you dream up!
