Strawberry Mango Banana Smoothie – 5 Minute Recipe!
I live for smoothies in the summer, and I’ve been experimenting with tons of different flavors. The best lesson I’ve learned? Kiwi makes a very bitter-tart smoothie, and it is so not good. Don’t try it – it’s my biggest smoothie regret to date, and my husband would agree with that statement.
However, strawberries, mangoes and bananas make a fabulous sweet, summery smoothie, and the berries give it a gorgeous pink color. I feel so healthy when I drink it – and that’s the important part (like, if I eat a pizza, but I feel healthy doing it, it’s okay – right?)!
But, really, this smoothie is super healthy – 3 kinds of fruit, milk and protein-packed Greek yogurt make this a delicious drink worth your 5 minutes! Kids love these too, and using a fun straw makes them even more excited about it. Plus, it is a great recipe when you want to have your kids helping in the kitchen – as long as you’re supervising, they can pretty much do it on their own!
If it’s hot where you are today, pick up some fruit and cool off with a delicious, healthy strawberry mango banana smoothie! Pair it with a light, fresh salad (like this avocado chicken salad) and you’ve got the perfect summer meal.
Tip: Get your frozen strawberries out about 5 minutes ahead of time and let them thaw a little. It makes them blend up more smoothly in the blender. If you use them directly from the freezer, you may have more strawberry bits than you want in your smoothie!
5 minutes, 5 ingredients, and you've got a fresh, healthy, summery smoothie to help you survive the heat!
- 1 medium banana
- 6-7 large frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
- 1 c. frozen mango
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. Greek yogurt
-
Place all ingredients in the blender. Blend for 2 minutes, or until smooth.
-
Pour into 2 glasses, add pretty straws and serve!

This sounds delicious. I love mango and strawberry! Good tip on the kiwi too. I would not have expected that to make a bad smoothie.
