Strawberry Cloud Dessert is an effortless, 3 ingredient, no-fuss recipe that your friends and family will eat in mere minutes and ask for more!

Strawberry Cloud

Easy desserts are my go-to when I’m headed to a family get together. Let’s face it – by the time I get my toddler ready, pack extra clothes and a pack-n-play so he can nap, and slap some eyeliner on my face, the last thing I want to do is have to get any sort of complicated or fancy food ready.

Summer get togethers are the best, because everybody wants cold food. And cold summer salads and desserts are so quick and easy – practically effortless.

This Strawberry Cloud Dessert is exactly that – effortless. Plus, since it only has 3 simple ingredients and you use the entire container of each, it’s a great recipe for kids to help make. I don’t have to worry about my toddler dumping in too much of anything. I just have to worry about him trying to lick the spoon!

Making the Strawberry Cloud Dessert

First – you’ll need 3 basic ingredients: Greek vanilla yogurt, frozen whipped topping, and a can of pie filling. You can use regular vanilla yogurt in place of the Greek as well. And if you’d prefer to lessen the sugar, you can use sugar-free pie filling. You could even make your own pie filling!

Empty the container of Greek vanilla yogurt into a large mixing bowl. Add the 8 ounce container of thawed whipped topping and gently fold the two together until they seem pretty well combined.

Ways to Customize the Strawberry Cloud Dessert

Change up the pie filling:

Last time I made this dessert, I lost the can of strawberry pie filling somewhere in my cupboards. I still haven’t found it. So all I had was cherry pie filling. Turns out, it’s delicious with cherry! I want to try blueberry pie filling next, and you could even mix it up and do 1/2 cherry and 1/2 blueberry or 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 blueberry!

Add extra ingredients:

There are all sorts of extra things you could add to it.

Healthy options: Add fresh fruit, canned pineapple, chopped nuts, granola on top, or unsweetened coconut to the cloud.

Less-than-healthy options: You could add sweetened coconut, chocolate chips or peanut butter chips, dried cranberries or blueberries, cacao nibs, crushed graham crackers, marshmallows, or even chocolate-covered dried cherries or blueberries.

Basically, the sky’s the limit on this one! It’s probably all going to be delicious!

If Presentation Matters To You…

You can spoon the Strawberry Cloud Dessert into a nice serving bowl before serving it. Top it with some fresh sliced strawberries and sprinkle granola or chopped nuts over the top.
