Pineapple Mango Banana Smoothie (No Added Sugar!)

Usually, I like to make a smoothie for breakfast. But, lately, I’m starving when I get home from work (there’s not a lot of eating time when you’re a teacher!), and I end up reaching for food that is terrible for my body. Bring on the peanut butter filled pretzels, the chips, and whatever else I can find quickly. I’m working on putting a stop to that.

Enter this pineapple mango banana smoothie – it’s full of 4 different fruits and there’s a nice amount of protein from the Greek yogurt to help keep you full! There is no added sugar, because all the sweetness comes from the fruit itself. It’s also super quick and easy to make – which means less time for me to go hunting for snacks.

I love to make smoothies of any sort, and the bright yellow color of this one just makes me think of sunshine and summer! This is one of the most refreshing smoothies I’ve made, and it’s so healthy too!

Pineapple Mango Banana Smoothie

Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 c. pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 c. mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 c. Greek yogurt (plain, vanilla, or honey)
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. If you use all fresh fruit, you may want to add a few ice cubes to make your drink colder and give more texture to it.

Great recipe! I love using bananas as a base for smoothies because they’re so sweet. I also like freezing them and adding avocado to my smoothies for a creamy taste and extra goodness!
