Homemade Pot Roast Seasoning (Beef or Pork)
Beef roast and pork roast get so tender and juicy when they’re rubbed with this homemade pot roast seasoning. Plus, there are no preservatives or additives when you make it at home!
Every year for Christmas, I make beef roast in the Instant Pot and the slow cooker. No matter which one I’m making, I use the same homemade pot roast seasoning mix.
I prefer it to the store-bought packets by far, especially now that I’m feeding Camden bits of the roast. When I make it at home, I know what’s in it. There are no preservatives or additives, and I control how much sodium/sugar/spice, etc.
This seasoning is so easy – dump the spices together, give them a quick stir, and store in an airtight container.
Bonus>> it makes enough for 4 roasts, so you won’t have to make it again for a good long while.
