Easy Homemade S’mores Bark – Just 3 Ingredients!
This Simple and Easy Homemade S’mores Bark requires only 3 ingredients, takes just minutes and is absolutely delicious! Enjoy all the classic s’mores flavors in a giftable treat!
Graham crackers and marshmallow are my jam. I used to eat a graham cracker topped with peanut butter and mini marshmallows every day as my favorite snack. And s’mores? Yummmm – toasted marshmallows on a graham cracker; so good! Costco has this s’mores bark, and I knew I could recreate it with just a few ingredients (and at a way lower cost), so here is the easy, quick, (barely a recipe) recipe.
Ingredients for S’mores Bark
You only need three ingredients, and they’re basically the same as your typical s’mores ingredients: chocolate bars, mini marshmallows, and Golden Grahams cereal. You could also used broken graham crackers in place of the Golden Grahams.
Making the S’mores Bark
Melt 3 good quality chocolate bars in a microwave safe bowl. I used a dark chocolate with crushed almonds for a little extra crunch.
Pour the melted chocolate onto a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil. Use the back of a spoon to spread the chocolate into a thin layer.
Sprinkle mini marshmallows and Golden Grahams cereal over the spread chocolate layer. Press the toppings down lightly to make sure they’re set.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set and hard.
Break the bark into pieces. Enjoy!
Storing the S’mores Bark
You can certainly keep this treat on the counter at room temperature. But I’ve found my s’mores bark tends to get a bit soft, especially in the Midwest end-of-summer humidity.
So I keep my s’mores bark in the refrigerator, and it could also be kept in the freezer as well. Just toss it in a ziploc bag and pop it in the fridge, so you can grab a piece whenever you’re craving something sweet!
Fun Additions
You can certainly keep it simple and stick to the three basic s’mores ingredients. But mixing it up and adding new and fun items is fun as well!
Here are some delicious ideas:
- white chocolate chips
- chopped Reese’s cups
- a drizzle of melted white chocolate over the s’mores bark before refrigerating
- dried fruit, such as strawberries or blueberries
- gummy bears
- coconut flakes
Really, any sweet thing you can think of is probably going to taste good on this homemade s’mores bark. Mix it up – try a few different combos and let me know your favorite!
