Are you currently practicing social distancing? Me, too. Has that put a damper on your date nights (and probably your me-time, too)? Same, girl. Same.

My recommendation? Plan an at home date night with your spouse or significant other. I talked about ways to entertain yourself at home last week, and there’s some great ideas of things to do both by yourself and with someone else. Another recommendation is to try DateBox – an at-home subscription box that takes away the planning for you!

We just got our first DateBox, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

What is DateBox?

DateBox is a subscription service that asks you a series of questions about you and your partner and then sends you a date night box that fits your answers. Instead of just having a monthly theme that everyone gets, you get your box based on your personality and interests. So fun!

Our DateBox March Unboxing

The theme of our March DateBox was ‘spa day.’ So the whole box was all about ways to relax, practice calm and feel refreshed. How perfect is that with all the stress of the world right now?

In our box, we got: a date guide, massage oil, bath bombs, face masks, and an amazing-smelling candle.

So – if you and your husband are both into spa days, this would be an awesome box for you! I will be honest thought – since I am working with DateBox, they sent me the box and I didn’t get to choose this first one. Which would absolutely not be true for you, because you answer questions about yourself and your partner. My husband is not super into baths and bath bombs and face masks.

He did however, think the candle smelled fantastic, and we burn candles a lot when we’re having date nights and playing games together. And he was interested in the massage oil – surprise, surprise. Ha.

Which means the bath bombs and face masks are alllll mine. Honestly, with everything going on right now, I’m completely okay with that. I could use a little extra pampering and there’s still things in the box that we will use together!

Here’s how we used the March DateBox box for our date night: we played a game with the candle burning. Then I got to take a bath with the face masks and bath bombs, and then we used the massage oil together.
